Darla Thomas is the Mix 92.5 Music Director. She lives in Issaquah with her husband Rick, daughter Madison Elizabeth (born in 2001) and their two dogs Smokey and Bear. Darla grew up in Pennsylvania but her radio career has taken her all over the country, including stints in Texas, New York, and Arizona. She's been at Mix 92.5 for 3 years and loves Seattle: "I can drive 40 minutes to the mountains to ski and come back home and not have to shovel snow-it's the best of both worlds".
Darla is a 2 time winner of the Gavin award for Major Market Adult Contemporary Assistant Program Director/Music Director of the year. In 2002, she also won Billboard Magazine's Adult Contemporary APD/MD of the year.
"If I wasn't in radio, I would probably be an actress, as I was really interested in the performing arts in high school and college. But once I got into radio I was hooked for life".
